Are you considering purchasing back packs for a back-to-school outreach? If so, your organization can purchase them through Somebody Cares Pasco/Hernando. We work with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay who orders them in mass quantities. Through them, we are able to purchase back packs normally sold in major stores for $30 – $40 at a fraction of the cost – WITH the supplies in them.
Once we receive all of the bags and supplies, we hold our annual stuffing party! It’s a party made up by those who have bought bags through us and/or who want to help stuff the bags. Starting with pizza at 6:00PM (come when you can) followed by praise & worship, we’ll form assembly lines and stuff the bags together by 7:00PM. After a great time with great people, you should have your stuffed bags by 8:15PM, ready to go!

A backpack filled with school supplies is available for students from kindergarten through grade 12. Pick-up Day is Saturday, August 10 at The Oasis Coffee Spot [9213 Little Road in New Port Richey]. Three pick-up times are available:

- 12:00 NOON
